David is currently employed as a manager with Empire Valuation Consultants, LLC, a nationally recognized leading independent valuation consulting firm, where he has been employed since 2005. While employed with Empire, David has been involved in the valuations of a variety of debt and equity securities, derivative instruments, intangible assets, and real estate for diverse purposes, including those of financial and Securities and Exchange (SEC) reporting, litigation, estate and gift tax reporting, matrimonial matters, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) formation and administration, stock option granting (IRC 409A), lending, and other corporate planning and reporting purposes for hedge funds, private equity funds, high net worth individuals, and a variety of publicly traded and privately held corporate clients.
His professional experience (prior to joining Empire) includes experiences in the retail and commercial segments of the banking industry. Via his employment with Lyons National Bank, he served in numerous and varying capacities, most recently, as a Commercial Credit Analyst & Bank Officer.
David holds an MBA (finance) and a BS in Business Administration (finance) from Rochester Institute of Technology and an AS in Business Administration from Monroe Community College. He is an investor in closely held companies and real estate, and together with the two other owners, purchased National Sweepstakes Company, LLC in April of 2011.
Owner / CFO
With modest beginnings at age 19, Margaret began her career as an Assistant Bookkeeper in a small elite dress shop located in Rochester, NY. Since then, she has continued on a 35-year accounting journey serving in a variety of capacities within the industry. Margaret currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer with NSC where she has been with the company since 2002. She has been and continues to be responsible for the company’s accounting, finance, information technology, and human resource functions.
In addition to her ties to NSC, Margaret is also the owner of MWorks. MWorks, founded by Margaret in 1999, is an accounting and income tax company that provides accounting, bookkeeping, tax returns, and financial services to small businesses in a variety of industries.
She holds an AAS in Accounting from Monroe Community College, is an investor in closely held companies and real estate, and together, with the two other owners, purchased National Sweepstakes Company, LLC in April of 2011.
Owner / President / Account Management
Teri began her career in California as an Operations Manager for a large skill crane company where she oversaw daily operations and handled over 20 regional managers. Her skill set lead her to work alongside a professional motivational speaker where she developed a broad base of effective communication and interaction skills.
While at NSC since 2003, Teri started as an Account Representative allowing her to learn the ropes of promotional marketing. She quickly parlayed her knowledge and expertise becoming Managing Director, where her key role was facilitating the management of new business development and client relationships, in addition to the administration of promotions. Today, she continues to assist over 100 clients in implementing their promotions in addition to her ownership responsibilities.
Teri acquired her BA degree in Accounting and Economics from Luther College in Decorah, IA and in April of 2011, Teri (along with the two other owners) purchased National Sweepstakes Company, LLC from the original owner.
Marketing & Account Manager
Jennifer found her love of working in a marketing/promotional field just out of high school when afforded a position as the Director of Public Relations and Advertising at a multi-franchise automobile dealership.
Five years later, she was drawn to expand upon her experience by assisting in the launch of a new company and facilitating the integration of its product into the retail market.
Through her travels from Miami to Virginia Beach, Jennifer has shared in the management of a family owned printing company and worked independently as a Certified Signing Agent in the Mortgage and Loan industry.
Eventually drawn back to her home town of Rochester, she established a 9 year relationship with NSC, managing over 100 Clients as an Promotions Manager. Now, a Marketing and Account Manager, she oversees NSC’s internal sales and marketing strategies, including SEO and PPC management.
